relating to claiming an exemption from required immunizations for school enrollment.

Caption from analyzed text · version I.

Summary

Seal gone, yearly count gone, and the department can’t ask who you are.

The bill makes the school vaccine exemption affidavit easier to get by having the state health department post it as a printable form online and in every school nurse office, instead of mailing it only on written request. It touches parents, guardians and students who claim an exemption from required school immunizations, plus the health department and school nurses. The anti-copy security seal is dropped, the yearly count report to the legislature ends, the department may not ask for or keep personal identifying information on anyone who gets the form, and this starts with the 2025-2026 school year.
