Summary

Vouchers for emergency medical services workers. The caption just says “certain counties.” No new money.

The bill tells the state's affordable housing corporation to set up a housing voucher program for emergency medical services workers. It applies only in a county with a population of more than 1 million and less than 1.5 million, and the corporation's board writes the rules on who qualifies and how much each voucher pays. No new money is set aside: the corporation must use available resources and may take gifts and grants, starting September 1, 2025.
