Summary

It only adds a short title. The temporary tag rules stay the same.

The bill adds a short title to a 2023 Texas law on temporary vehicle tags and tampering with a governmental record, so that law can be cited by a person's name. It touches no one directly and creates no new duty, penalty, program or money. Nothing changes on the ground except what the existing law is called, starting September 1, 2025.
