Summary

Final summary due January 1, 2028. The whole section expires January 31, 2028.

The bill orders the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service to study every plant disease and pest outbreak in Texas each year, tracking how long each lasted and how it ended. It touches the extension service, which must post a yearly report online, and state leaders, who get a final summary with policy recommendations by January 1, 2028. Nothing changes on the ground beyond paperwork: no new rules, money or response program, and the whole section expires January 31, 2028.

determines is relevant.

(d) Not later than January 1 of each year, the extension

service shall prepare and publish on the extension service's

under this section.

(e) Not later than January 1, 2028, the extension service
