Summary
Someone from the student’s admission, review, and dismissal committee sits in.
The bill changes who must sit on a school threat assessment team when the student being assessed is in special education. In that case, the team must include a member of the student's admission, review, and dismissal committee who knows the student's disability and services. Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, schools assessing a special education student must bring that person to the table.
