Summary
If the State Board of Education rejected it, schools cannot buy it.
The bill bars public schools from buying, adopting or using any instructional material on the State Board of Education's list of rejected materials. It applies to school districts, and to open-enrollment charter schools for open education resources and for anything bought with local money. Starting with the 2025-2026 school year, state allotment money and local funds can no longer pay for rejected materials, and districts cannot put them in classrooms.
