Summary

Section 25.1723(c), gone. That’s the whole bill.

The bill repeals one subsection, Section 25.1723(c) of the Government Code, which deals with the statutory probate courts of Montgomery County. It touches those probate courts and the people who file cases in them. The text does not show what the repealed subsection said, so the only visible change is that the provision disappears for cases filed on or after September 1, 2025.
