Summary

A beekeeper, a master gardener, a report by October 1, 2026. Gone by December 31.

The bill creates a task force on pollinator health whose members the governor appoints, drawn from a university scientist, nursery, farm, pollinator and pesticide-applicator advocacy groups, a master gardener, a beekeeper and a Parks and Wildlife Department bee specialist. The task force studies habitat incentives, public education, population data methods and habitat loss, and every state agency must help it with information and advice. Nothing changes on the ground beyond meetings and a report to legislative agriculture committees due October 1, 2026, and the section expires December 31, 2026.
