Summary

The AG gets an email and can join remotely.

The bill makes a court email the attorney general before any hearing on a temporary restraining order in a lawsuit under the Election Code. It touches judges, people who sue over elections, and the attorney general's office, which must set up an email address for these notices and may join the hearing remotely. On the ground, a court must wait at least two hours after notice before holding the hearing unless the attorney general waives the wait, and any restraining order issued without following these steps is void.
