Summary

Addresses, phone numbers and questionnaire answers stay with the court.

The bill makes personal information gathered about people who show up for jury duty confidential, including home address, phone number, Social Security number, driver's license number, and juror questionnaire answers. It bars the court, the parties, their lawyers, and court staff from disclosing that information. A party or a news reporter can still get the information, but only by applying to the judge and showing good cause, and the rule covers people reporting for jury duty on or after September 1, 2025.
