Summary
Strictly optional. The office may ask. It does not have to.
The bill lets the state film office require any production company that applies for a state film incentive grant to promise it will follow office guidelines on the safe use of firearms on set. It touches film, TV and other moving image production companies seeking state grants, and the office that runs the grant program. Nothing changes unless the office chooses to use this power, because the bill says the office "may" require the promise; it does not have to.
