Summary

One Tax Code subsection, Section 11.43(h-1), goes away.

The bill repeals one subsection of the Tax Code, Section 11.43(h-1), which the caption says requires each appraisal district to periodically confirm that people getting residence homestead exemptions still qualify. It touches appraisal districts and homeowners who claim the homestead exemption. Once it takes effect, appraisal districts would no longer be under that periodic confirmation requirement.
