Summary

Phone or video meetings, electronic votes, unanimous written consent.

The bill lets condo owners' associations hold owner meetings by phone or video, lets their boards meet electronically or act by unanimous written consent, and lets condo votes be cast electronically. It touches condo associations, homeowners' associations, their boards and the owners who live under them, and it updates outdated references to old corporation laws. On the ground, condo boards can no longer use their own bylaws to opt out of these electronic meeting rules, HOA owner meetings may be held remotely, and electronic ballots join absentee ballots and proxies as an approved HOA voting method starting September 1, 2025.
