Summary

Section 681.011(f-2) goes away.

The bill deletes one subsection, Section 681.011(f-2), from the state law on parking spaces set aside for people with disabilities. Per its caption, the deleted subsection deals with how citations are issued for the offense of using those spaces without authorization, so the change touches drivers who park there and the officers who write the tickets. Starting September 1, 2025, that subsection no longer controls citations for new violations, while older violations stay under the old rule.
