Summary

Not just the listed cities, counties and school districts. Everyone with a website.

The bill expands the rule that requires posting meeting notices and agendas online so it covers every governmental body or entity under the open meetings law that has a website, not just the listed cities, counties, school districts, colleges, development corporations and certain authorities. It touches state boards, commissions, special districts and any other covered body that runs or has a website run for it. Starting September 1, 2025, those bodies must put each meeting notice and agenda on their website's home or landing page at the same time they post it elsewhere, with a good-faith safe harbor for technical problems.
