Summary

At least one high school student. Signs go up in cafeterias.

The bill requires every school district's local school health advisory council to include at least one high school student who applied for the seat. It touches school boards, which must advertise the opening with signs in cafeterias and common areas and keep taking applications until the seat is filled. Parents keep their required majority and the chair role, and students move from an optional category to a guaranteed seat starting with the 2025-2026 school year.
