The bill changes the rule for school district employment policies so that every district employee has the right to present a grievance in person to the elected board of trustees. It touches every Texas school district and its employees, from teachers to support staff. Starting with the 2025-2026 school year, a district cannot route an employee's grievance only through administrators or in writing; the employee gets to stand before the board.
