Summary
Every interested company gets one standard contract, identical terms.
The bill bars the State Bar of Texas from signing exclusive deals that let one company lease, license, sell, or distribute the bar's intellectual property. Any such deal must instead be offered to every interested company on one standard contract with identical terms. It touches the state bar and the vendors who license its materials, and it applies only to contracts signed after the bill takes effect, with small wording cleanups to the bar's purchasing section.
