Summary

Under 850,000 people, up from 10 business days. Big counties keep 10.

The bill changes how fast a county must tell a developer or landowner that a plat application is missing paperwork. Counties with fewer than 850,000 people get 30 days instead of 10 business days to send that notice, while larger counties keep the 10-business-day deadline. Every county must also let the applicant turn in the missing documents on time, and the changes apply only to plat applications filed on or after September 1, 2025.
