Summary

Certain voters get a notice in the mail.

The bill requires county voter registrars to mail a residence confirmation notice to certain voters. On November 30 after each general election, any voter who is not already on the suspense list and has not voted in any election in the previous 25 months must get a notice, along with voters listed at a commercial post office box or whom the registrar otherwise believes have moved. This turns a judgment call into a fixed rule, so registrars must contact inactive voters on a set schedule starting September 1, 2025.
