Summary

Each candidate’s share as a percentage, next to the raw counts.

The bill requires election result reports to show each candidate's share of the vote as a percentage, alongside the raw vote counts already reported. It touches county clerks, election officials and party officials who prepare precinct, periodic, final and unofficial primary tabulations for primary, runoff and general elections. It also rewrites which primary candidates get county precinct-level reports, limiting them to statewide or district offices, and it takes effect September 1, 2025.
