Public, charter and private schools, for state or federal programs.

The bill requires public school districts, charter schools and private schools to hand over information to the Texas Education Agency when the agency asks for it. The information must be what the agency needs to run or manage a state or federal program. Private schools, which the agency does not normally oversee this way, would now have a legal duty to answer these requests starting immediately or on September 1, 2025.
