Summary

U.S., Texas, Armed Forces and the school flag. Nothing else.

This bill rewrites the state flag rule in the Education Code so that every school covered by the code must fly the United States and Texas flags on regular school days. Schools may also fly U.S. Armed Forces flags and their own official school flag, but they may not fly or display any other flag. The change applies starting with the 2025-2026 school year, and the bill sets no penalty for a school that breaks the rule.
