Summary
Districts under 1,600 students get double the multiplier.
The bill doubles the multipliers in the state formula that gives extra per-student money to small and mid-sized school districts. It touches districts with fewer than 1,600 students, K-12 districts with fewer than 5,000 students, and tiny single-district counties with fewer than 300 students. Starting September 1, 2025, those districts would get roughly twice the small-district allotment per student they get now.
