Summary

No documentation required. They do not roll over.

The bill gives every Texas school district employee at least two paid wellness days a year, on top of all other leave. These days do not roll over and do not come out of the employee's existing personal leave, and districts cannot demand documentation for them. Each school district must adopt a policy on using and processing the leave, starting with the 2025-2026 school year.
