Summary

Registrars still report every voter’s full birth date. The electronic part goes.

The bill removes the requirement that the Secretary of State's procedures provide for electronic submission of voter registration information from county voter registrars. The rule that each registrar must collect and report every registered voter's correct month, day, and year of birth stays in place. Registrars still must send the state the information needed to keep the statewide voter list, but the law no longer requires that it be sent electronically, starting September 1, 2025.
