Summary

Model year 2010 or earlier now qualifies, up from 2006.

The bill widens the state's clean school bus grant program so it can pay to replace school buses from model year 2010 or earlier, instead of only 2006 or earlier. It touches school districts and other bus owners that apply for these grants, and the state environmental commission that runs the program. Starting September 1, 2025, buses from model years 2007 through 2010 become eligible for replacement grants.
