Summary

Scoring appears to move from staff to the commissioners themselves.

The bill changes who scores applications for Defense Economic Adjustment Assistance Grants. It appears to move scoring from a panel of three to five governor's office staff to the commissioners themselves, though this plain-text copy does not clearly mark which words are deleted. Each application would still be scored on how much it affects the local government entity and on any other criteria the commission sets, starting September 1, 2025.
