Summary

Subsections (g-3) and (g-4) go. What they said isn’t printed.

This bill deletes two exceptions, subsections (g-3) and (g-4), from the state law that bars new cemeteries in or near cities above certain population sizes. It touches anyone who wanted to open or run a cemetery in the specific places those exceptions covered, but the text of the deleted exceptions is not printed in this bill. Starting September 1, 2025, those places fall back under the general distance ban unless another listed exception applies.
