Summary

Public money pays the lobbyist, the public sees the precise amount. No more ranges.

The bill changes the lobbyist registration form so that pay or reimbursement a lobbyist gets from taxpayer money must be reported as an exact dollar amount. It touches lobbyists hired with public money and the governments or entities that pay them. Starting with registrations filed on or after September 1, 2025, the public would see the precise amount paid, not just a range.
