Summary
The week with November 11. Sunday counts as day one.
The bill names the week that includes November 11 as Celebrate Veterans Week in Texas public schools, counting Sunday as the first day of that week. It lets the state education agency, along with any other state agencies that choose to join, promote the week through a coordinated program, but no other agency may build instruction unless money is specifically appropriated for it. No school or agency is required to do anything, so the only change on the ground is a named week on the school calendar beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.
