relating to the fee for a driving safety course.

Caption from analyzed text · version I.

Summary

$25 minimum stays. The $3 materials fee goes.

The bill rewrites the state rule on what driving safety course providers must charge students. It keeps the $25 minimum course fee and deletes the separate required fee of at least $3 for course materials and for supervising and administering the course. Students taking a driving safety course could pay a lower minimum total, and providers lose the mandated add-on charge starting September 1, 2025.
