The 341st drops off the must-appoint-a-bailiff list.
The bill removes the 341st district court from the state list of courts whose judges must each appoint a bailiff, and repeals two special Webb County bailiff provisions. It touches the judges of the 341st and 406th district courts in Webb County and the bailiffs they appoint. Bailiffs already serving keep their jobs and Webb County pay under the old rules, while future bailiff appointment and pay fall under general county law instead of the special provisions.

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill aims at specific numbered courts in one county, but the caption openly says it concerns certain district courts in Webb County, so the narrowness is disclosed.
