Summary

Spaceports join airports and military installations on the no-drone list.

The bill adds spaceports to the existing Texas offense for flying a drone over an airport or military installation. It reaches anyone who intentionally or knowingly flies a drone over, crashes a drone into, or disrupts operations at a launch or landing site that is FAA-licensed or run by a spaceport development corporation. Starting September 1, 2025, that conduct at a spaceport becomes an offense, with the same defenses already given to government, police, site owners, and people with permission.
