Summary

Board director elections land on the even-year uniform date.

This bill requires municipal utility districts to hold their board director elections on the November uniform election date in even-numbered years. It touches municipal utility districts, their directors and candidates, and the voters who live inside those districts. On the ground, these local water and utility district races would move to the same November ballot as the big general elections instead of the May date the general rule now sets.
