Summary

Class size limits and parent notice apply, even to existing plans.

The bill stops school districts of innovation from using their innovation plans to opt out of the state's class size limits and the rule that parents get notice about class size. It touches every district that has adopted an innovation plan, including plans already in place. Starting September 1, 2025, those districts must follow the same class size caps and parent notice rules as other districts.
