relating to commercial signs along U.S. Highway 77.

Summary

The segment ends at State Highway 285 instead of State Highway 44.

The bill changes the stretch of U.S. Highway 77 where new commercial signs are banned, so the protected segment now runs from State Highway 186 to State Highway 285 instead of to State Highway 44. It touches sign companies, businesses and landowners along that part of U.S. 77. Depending on where the new end point falls, some land that was inside the no-sign zone may now sit outside it, or the reverse, starting September 1, 2025.
