Summary

Own website, Texas Checkbook in the web address.

The bill keeps the comptroller's searchable online database of state spending and requires it to be called the Texas Checkbook, hosted on its own website separate from the comptroller's main site, with Texas Checkbook in the web address. Every state agency with a public website must still link from its home page to that spending database. The change on the ground is a branded, standalone spending-search site that the public can find by name, starting September 1, 2025.
