The bill's only duties are to identify resources and report them to the legislature every two years, and any real support waits on later action. The caption honestly says the bill is about evaluating resources, so this is a mild instance.

Summary

Each sends lawmakers a report every two years. No money moves, no new program starts.

The bill orders seven state agencies to find funding, training, and technical help they already have that could support nonprofit peer-recovery groups. It touches agencies including Health and Human Services, State Health Services, Family and Protective Services, Housing, Criminal Justice, Juvenile Justice, and the Veterans Commission, plus nonprofits run mostly by people in recovery from addiction or mental health conditions. On the ground, each agency must send the legislature a report every two years listing what it could offer, but no money moves and no new program starts.
