Summary

Share an election, share early voting.

The bill requires local governments that hold a joint election to also run their early voting jointly, instead of letting them decide whether to do so. It touches cities, school districts and other political subdivisions that share an election, along with their early voting clerks. On the ground, joint elections will have one combined early voting operation run by a single appointed clerk, and the separate subsection repealed in Section 2 is removed from the law starting September 1, 2025.
