Fill out, sign and track it on a state or county website.
The bill orders the Secretary of State to build an online system so voters 65 or older can fill out, electronically sign, and track an application for a mail ballot from the state website or their county's website. To use it, a voter must enter their name, their voter registration number or address, their Texas driver's license or ID number, and the last four digits of their Social Security number. Instead of mailing a signed paper form, these older voters could apply online, and the system would send the application straight to their local early voting clerk starting September 1, 2025.
