Summary

Every program, not just child care. Public reporting website too.

The bill orders the Texas Workforce Commission to write procedures to prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, waste, and abuse in every program it runs, not just child care. It covers the commission, the local groups that run programs for it, and their contractors, and it requires a public website reporting method plus a reporting channel for those groups and contractors. The commission may also get any information or technology it needs to do this work, starting September 1, 2025.
