Summary

Which section, and whether incomplete, wrong or ineligible.

The bill requires county voter registrars, when they reject a voter registration application, to say which section of the application caused the rejection. For each flagged section, the registrar must say whether it was incomplete, filled out wrong, or showed the applicant is not eligible to vote. Rejected applicants get a specific reason they can fix instead of a bare rejection, starting September 1, 2025.
