The bill requires health care providers and other covered entities to post detailed instructions on their websites and at their facilities. The instructions must tell patients how to request their own health records, how to reach the entity's licensing or disciplinary authority, and how to file a consumer complaint. Starting September 1, 2025, patients should find these steps posted wherever the entity operates.
