Summary

The education commissioner publishes them.

The bill requires the state education commissioner to publish a progress report twice a year on any school district or campus that the state has placed under a conservator, management team, or board of managers. Each report must use specific benchmarks to show how the district or campus is doing in the areas that triggered state action, and compare current performance to performance before the takeover. Parents and taxpayers in taken-over districts get a regular public scorecard on whether state intervention is working, starting September 1, 2025.
