Summary

No warrant, no campus, no student records, no family or staff information.

The bill bars Texas school districts and charter schools from letting federal immigration officers, or police doing immigration work, onto a campus without a judicial warrant. It also bars those schools from giving such officers student records, information about a student's family or household, or information about school employees without a judicial warrant. Starting September 1, 2025, schools would need a judge-signed warrant before cooperating with immigration enforcement on campus or sharing records.
