Summary

School entities can leave the program before five years.

The bill deletes the rule that a school entity joining the state's uniform health coverage program for active school employees must stay in for at least five years before it can leave. It touches school districts and other eligible entities that join or consider joining the program, along with their employees and the program's trustee. Entities that join could leave sooner, and the bill also repeals subsection (b) of the participation section, whose contents are not shown in this text.
