Summary

Borrowed from Section 304.002, next door.

The bill adds a definition of "telephone call" to the state's telephone solicitation chapter by pointing to the definition already used in a related chapter, Section 304.002. It touches businesses that make sales calls in Texas and the people who receive them. On the ground, the solicitation rules will use the same meaning of "telephone call" as that related chapter, starting September 1, 2025.
