Summary

Section 345.157(d) repealed.

The bill repeals Section 345.157(d) of the Finance Code, the provision the caption describes as sending part of the retail charge agreement delinquency fee to the comptroller. It touches retail sellers who charge delinquency fees on retail charge agreements, and the state comptroller who receives that portion. Starting January 1, 2026, that portion would no longer go to the comptroller, while amounts owed before that date are still collected under the old law.
