Summary

Life safety code surveys too, before the work is done.

The bill lets people building or changing an assisted living facility send their building plans to the state for a compliance check any time before construction is finished, not only before it starts. It also lets them ask for a life safety code survey before the work is done. State health officials must write rules to carry this out, and the law takes effect September 1, 2025.
